We’re seeking an enthusiastic, patient-centered Registered Dental Hygienist to join our family practice in Weatherford, TX.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
– Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments
– Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients and dental team members
– Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
– Experience using electronic medical records is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, scaling and root planing, taking dental x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments.
– Conduct thorough dental assessments and oral cancer screenings to identify any oral health issues or concerns.
– Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care.
– Explain dental problems, consequences, and options for treatment.
– Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans.
– Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures.
– Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
EDUCATION:
– Registered Dental Hygienist
– Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in Texas
– CPR Certification
HOURS:
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.
SALARY:
Negotiable based on experience
