Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Managed Care is seeking a Correctional Unit Dentist to join our team in Colorado City/Snyder, Texas

What you will do –
Directly supervises dental staff consisting of two to three dental assistants, one dental clerk and one hygienist in providing dental services at a correctional facility.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, making hiring recommendations, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; assist in appraising performance; encouraging dental staff, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Makes productive use of clinic resource capacity, including his own time and that of those supervised.

Required Qualifications:
Current license to practice dentistry by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.
Current Drug Enforcement Agency controlled substances registration certificates.
